It doesn’t take many goats to develop a surplus of milk.  One way to use that surplus is to make goat milk soap, shampoo, and tallow lotion bars.  Goat milk soap and shampoo is wonderful for folks with dry or sensitive skin or for those who suffer from skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis.   It is also perfect for those with wonderfully healthy skin and want it to stay that way. We handcraft ours out of raw goat milk fresh from the barn.

     Making goat milk soap fits neatly into our DIY mentality on the homestead.  And, goat milk soap is truly beneficial to your skins health.    It is loaded with vitamins and minerals which promote healthy skin function and facilitate’s skin renewal.  We combine goat’s milk with your favorite combinations of oils from coconut, olive, or avocado along with some essential oils and you have a gentle yet effective cleanser made just the way you like it.
     Each batch of our goat’s milk soap is lovingly handcrafted and packaged on the farm right here in Ennis, Montana.  We use all natural ingredients and raw goats milk fresh from our farm.  Made with no chemicals, it is gentle and nourishing.  Soap is available in two sizes and shapes and in a variety of fragrances.   Soap bars are available in 3 ounce ovals and 4 ounce bars. In addition, we offer a round coffee scented soap embedded with coffee grounds and a loofa. Shampoo bars are available in 2.5 ounce solid bars and have a rich lather.

     The newest addition to our line of body care products is the Tallow Lotion Bar.  Our lotion bars are made with homestead raised and rendered grass-fed and pasture raised goat tallow.  We add all natural ingredients to make a luxurious, nourishing lotion bar. They are stable at room temperature but are especially soothing when slightly chilled prior to application.

     Why Tallow?  Tallow has many benefits including:
          – Skin Health.  Tallow’s vitamins and fatty acids moisturize and protect skin, reduce inflammation, and can promote wound healing and help with skin conditions.
          – Antioxidants.  Tallow has antioxidants like vitamin E that may help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
          – Nutrient-dense.  Tallow contains vitamins A, D, E, K and B12.

Scent blends:  Winter Wonder:  essential oils including cedar wood, pine needle, balsam fir needle, and candlewood.

                          Skin Repair – essential oils include chamomile, frankincense, rose geranium, lavender, Myrrh, sasndlewood, and helichrysum.
